ATP Mobile

Nov 2022 – SEP 2025

BACKGROUND

While Axi is most widely known for being a MetaTrader broker, they have also developed their own, separate proprietary trading platform, which they refer to as the Axi Trading Platform (ATP). This platform is distinct from MT4 and has some key differences.

Axi created ATP to address a specific set of problems and market needs that the popular MetaTrader 4 (MT4) platform, while excellent, was not fully solving.

#1 – MARKET ACCESS

Trade a broad range of instruments, including CFDs on Forex, gold, stocks, indices, and cryptocurrencies

#2 – NAVIGATING COMPLEXITY

Most trading apps overwhelm users with too many tools and steep learning curves.

#3 – SPEED & TRUST

In trading, every second matters — performance and security cannot be compromised.

MISSION

Create an accessible, intuitive CFD trading experience. ATP empowers traders to act confidently with professional tools. My work enhanced functionality, streamlined design, and ensured performance for users to Trade Their Edge.

AUDIENCE

ATP is designed for active retail traders across global markets. They are ambitious, data-driven and looking for platforms that balance advanced features with user-friendly design. These traders demand speed, trust and a seamless mobile experience — tools that give them an edge in pursuing opportunities whenever and wherever they arise.

SOLUTIONS

#1– IMPROVE ONBOARDING EXPERIENCE

To improve this, data collection was streamlined to minimise friction, friendlier and more engaging language that builds trust was adopted, clear progress bars to reassure users were introduced and CTA styles were standardised for clarity and consistency, ultimately creating a smoother, more motivating first-time experience.

The old onboarding experience notably suffered from repetitive data entry for simple information, overly transactional copy that lacked warmth, no clear progress indicators, delayed exposure to the app’s value and inconsistent CTA buttons that were confusing users.

#2 – CREATE THE DASHBOARD

The ATP dashboard gives traders instant clarity by putting funds at the top, surfacing curated market opportunities and highlighting personalised watchlists. Clear hierarchy, trend signals, and streamlined design make it easy to scan, track, and act quickly. This balances depth with usability, helping traders identify opportunities without being overwhelmed.

#3 – CREATE FUNDING HISTORY

Managing deposits and withdrawals can be a real headache for users, especially with multiple accounts and urgent transactions. Many apps clutter transaction histories, making it hard for users to quickly spot deposits versus withdrawals or confirm transaction success. This confusion breeds frustration, mistrust, and unnecessary support calls.

To tackle this, I crafted a sleek transaction history and details flow that prioritizes clarity and ease of use. The history screen features quick filters and a tidy overview of past actions, with a consistent layout and color-coded statuses for instant recognition. For added trust and transparency, the transaction details screen offers a comprehensive breakdown, including the amount, request ID, account details, and banking info. The outcome? A user experience that combines high-level clarity with detailed reassurance, cutting down support issues and boosting user confidence in their financial activities.
