ATP WEB

June 2023 – SEP 2024

BACKGROUND

Axi continues to empower traders to “Trade Your Edge” by delivering a seamless experience across devices. While the Axi Trading Platform (ATP) mobile app gives traders flexibility on the go, the Web Trading Platform extends that vision to the desktop environment, offering a professional-grade interface that supports more detailed analysis, larger data views, and multi-screen workflows. My work on the web platform focused on translating the speed and simplicity of mobile into a feature-rich desktop experience built for active traders.

#1 – ADVANCED TOOLS

Web traders demand access to deeper technical analysis, advanced charting, and powerful order types.

#2 – CONSISTENCY ACROSS DEVICES

Switching between mobile and web should feel seamless, with synced accounts, watchlists, and preferences.

#3 – PERFORMANCE AT SCALE

With large data sets and constant market updates, the platform must remain fast, stable, and reliable for professional traders.

MISSION

Deliver a browser-based trading platform that combines professional-grade tools with intuitive design. The web version of ATP was built to provide traders with expanded functionality — from multi-chart analysis to customizable layouts — while ensuring the same trust, speed, and accessibility that define Axi’s trading ecosystem. My role was to support this vision by enhancing usability, maintaining performance standards, and ensuring feature parity with mobile.

AUDIENCE

The web trading platform is designed for serious retail traders who require more depth and control than mobile alone can provide. They are data-driven, analytical, and often use multiple screens to monitor several instruments at once. These users value power, precision, and customization — tools that allow them to refine their strategies and truly Trade Their Edge.

SOLUTION

#1 – Main Trading Interface

I designed the core trading workspace where users browse markets, analyze instruments, and place trades. By streamlining the markets view and integrating a responsive order ticket, I created a clear, intuitive flow that reduces friction and supports fast decision-making in volatile environments.

#2 – PORTFOLIO

To give traders more visibility and control, I introduced a Portfolio section as a central hub for monitoring open positions, balances, and overall performance. The design emphasized clarity and hierarchy, making complex financial data approachable while supporting quick actions like closing or adjusting trades.

#3 – Funding Journeys within Trade Flow

When a trader attempts to execute a trade but lacks sufficient funds, a helpful dialogue box pops up. This box presents options to quickly use a saved payment method or choose an alternative funding method. It’s designed to be user-friendly, ensuring that traders can easily navigate their options without losing momentum in their trading activities.
